What Strengths Do you Need to Survive Well?

After reading about Jeff Eben's recovery in How Many Wins Have You Had Today, and listening to Randy Pauch's The Last Lecture, what have you learned about how to live your life in the best possible way? Write about what specific words of advice struck you, AND about how you might like to change your life because of what these two men have shared. What can you do NOW to make your life more meaningful?

They are both incredible mean. As I watched and read about them it made me think about my own life, and what I wanted to get out of my life. I learned from both that you have to get the most from your life. I learned that you shouldn't be afraid to do things, just because you think that you can't. What struck me the most was something that Randy Pauch said. He said something like, "When you screw up, people who really care about you will tell you."

They made and are making their lives meaningful not just for themselves, but for everyone, near and far. I only hope that I can make an impact on so many people as they have.

The end.

Some people would say there life is meaningless because their parents got a divorce, or they don't have money for food. These two guys lived their lives to the fullest and one was never gonna be able to walk
or do some stuff ever again, then one was dying in three months. They lived a great life. So before you go and say that your worthless, just think about these guys. They lived a great life and their messages are more useful today than ever

What I have learned from this lecture is that I should try my best at all the things I do. Also, when I get angry at my sister, my friends, or my family in general. I will go someplace else for awhile or count to ten. Because hurtful words don't help anything. Even if I don't agree with some peoples ideas about how to live your life I should respect their ideas and listen.

Those men lived life to the fullest because of something tragic but it shouldn't take a tragedy to make you live strong

After the video we watch. no matter what if we are or not die ing. we should have fun with life and just like life is a game and have fun with it no matter what happens to you. That if you can go some where go don't get scared to do thing that are fun . Life is like a a ride so ride it until you die and even if you are old you should just have fun with life.

These men have been part of tragedies which made them realize they should live while they are still alive.
It shouldn't take a tragedy to make you live life to the fullest

I think that people may say life in meaning but it not. Life has a meaning, it is a way of life. Life is your chance to do may things. You can let things slow you down. If there is a way in the way find away to get around it. This is a video that people should all watch.

Some people think that they are useless when a family members die or their pets. But you are still alive that is the best thing in the world that anyone would ever want.

If something seems hard, don't give up until you finish it. I liked Randy Pauch's speech because it gave you several points on how to live your life to its fullest potential, and how to have a successful career and relationships. I like how he showed you that anything material is less important than the people you care about.

I learned that you should always be happy and thankful that your alive. Think these people have gone through so much and they still are living life to the fullest. If you live your life to the fullest then you will never regret anything. So you should be a tigger and you will be happy.

They both have gone through a lot. One had to deal with being being able to nothing but lay. And the other had to deal with death and leaving his family. As time went on these men got stronger and lived a happy life. Unfortunately for Randy he did die but he taught everyone who watched his lecture was so inspired fallow their dreams and live life to what they could do. For Jeff he's inspired many people even though he can't walk or even though he can't do much he still lives life and does whatever he can. They are great men and we could learn a lot from them!

I have learned to not let the little things bring me down in life because other people have much larger problems then I do. If I were to know that I only had months to live, I probably couldn't take it. Randy Paunch only had a little while to live and he looked fine. He really inspired me to live my life to the fullest.

I can relate a little bit because for me having cerebral palsy I can relate. I don't know how to write how I think I relate but I feel that I do.

And it made me think never give up. Everyone has a purpose in life and God works miracles.

He was lucky to have the coach he might've not appreciated him at first but later he knew that he was helping him.

I have learned to appreciate life a whole lot more. I just think it is absolutely amazing, that these men were still able to go on after what happened to them. They made a big impact on my life. I hope I grow up to be just as brave and courageous as they are.
